Your home is your resting place. With the highest level of attention, we’re committed to helping you achieve your dreams.
Tucked into a cozy cul-de-sac with mountain views, this craftsman-style home was updated with a modern kitchen and master suite. We combined the original dining room and galley kitchen to accommodate a larger modern cooking space. The ceilings were vaulted and we added/moved several windows to create a more expansive feel. A locally-crafted custom island now serves as a new gathering spot. In the master suite, the stairwell was repositioned to create more closet space, a mini split was added along with new insulation, and a smart panel was installed to monitor energy usage. We widened the deck doorway to make room for a NanaWall bifold door, allowing the bedroom to easily transform into open-air living. Lastly, we set up a Ridwell recycling program for the owners to continue using well beyond our project completion.
From the basement buildout to exterior landscaping, we leveled up this home with a whole property renovation. New additions included an elevator, sauna, and massage room, and on the exterior, a new ADU and garage. We converted the electric system to accommodate an earth-friendly EV car and plumbed radiant heating throughout. The sidewalks were replaced, a new irrigation system was installed, patios were added, and the front-facing entry and retaining walls were accented with custom stonework. Our team made the extra effort to attend neighborhood association meetings ensuring that all facets of the project were community supported.
We transformed this modest 1940’s single-story home into a four-story northwest beauty. This down-to-the-studs remodel now incorporates energy-saving solutions including an advanced insulation system to improve air tightness, rain screen cladding to keep moisture out, modern insulated window casements, and shaded awnings. We leveled out the backyard by building a retaining wall, added a shed to match the exterior of the home, and built out a state-of-the-art kitchen complete with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.
Originally the Council Crest Trolley brakeman’s residence, this 3,200-square-foot home brings in beautiful natural light and was upgraded to be a more eco-conscious dwelling. Some of the project features of this 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath house include remilled old growth fir flooring, ipe exterior wood decking, and an added radiant floor heating system. Heat recovery ventilation and formaldehyde-free cabinetry were installed, and non-VOC and recycled paints were used throughout. On the exterior, landscaped bioswales were created, along with a rainwater harvesting option. The modifications of this home allow for a more energy efficient footprint.Â
This hillside gem sits on a steep lot with pristine views. Additional outdoor balconies were just what this home needed to soak in the picture-perfect snapshot of Mt. Hood. On the lower level we added 400-square-feet of decking made from Northwest sustainable cedar, and on the main floor we doubled the original deck size to accommodate an outdoor cooking area. We upgraded the modest kitchen to an expansive open-concept design with quartz countertops, a 6-burner stove, and an open-shelved pantry made of cherry wood. Custom details add to the uniqueness of this home with designer ventilation covers and welded indoor stairwell railings.
